From Date of Hire

Prenatal Support

From the date of hire, I will be your resource for all your questions you have along the way. Prenatal support will include: 
  • Three (3) in-person prenatal visits (one prenatal to include a car seat check) between 32-36 weeks gestation.
  • Prenatal topics include, but not limited to: labour/birth preparation (helping you craft your birth preferences/roadmap), childbirth education, navigating the hospital setting, infant feeding/breast/chest-feeding support, postpartum recovery, basic newborn care and baby safety tips.
  • Complimentary use/rental of my TENS machine (electrodes sold separately), labour birth sling, birth pool + liner, and other labour coping tools.
  • Complimentary colostrum collecting kit.
  • Unlimited text and email support starting from the date of hire. 
  • Personalized referrals to community services, prenatal care providers (holistic practitioners, lactation consultants, etc.) or postpartum care resources.

Week 37+

On-Call Support + Birth

From 37 weeks, I will be your on-call support (24/7) via phone call/video chat/text message support. Once it’s go-time, I will meet you at the hospital or your home for your baby’s birthday party! Birth support will include: 
  • Continuous in-person support throughout active labour until baby's arrival, and 1-2 hours in recovery (once everybody is settled).
  • Birth photography & videos, if desired.
  • Support and coaching on comfort/labour coping techniques, including complimentary use of my TENS machine (electrodes available for purchase separately, or to be purchased from your primary care provider). 
  • Lactation support for the first feed/latch (should you wish to breast/chestfeed) and newborn care support.

Post-birth: 1-6 Weeks

Postpartum Support

I will be checking in with you during your first week postpartum via text or phone, but once you are discharged from the hospital (or settled at home), postpartum support will include: 
  • One (1) postpartum in-person check-in within the first 1-2 weeks after birth to help process your birth, support in newborn care, emotional support, and easing your transition into new parenthood.
  • Complimentary postpartum breast engorgement massage (45 mins, plus 15 minute belly massage).
  • Unlimited text and email support up to 6 weeks postpartum.
  • Complimentary rental of my baby weight scale (up to 6 weeks, subject to availability).
  • Personalized referrals to postpartum resources.

For all birth clients, you will receive a complimentary postpartum care kit (valued at $150), which includes:

Booking Details

Payment Options

A 50% deposit will be required prior to the first prenatal visit to secure your date with me. The remaining 50% will be invoiced after our final postpartum check-in. Total fees will be subject to 5% GST.

Cancellation Policy

In respect of my other families that have requested my support, fees are final and deposits are non-refundable. I do not offer refunds unless I fail to provide services due to my own error and/or negligence. In the event that I am unable to attend your birth due to suspected or confirmed illness, injury, family emergency, or other circumstances outside of my control or foresight, my backup doula support will be offered.

Financial Restrictions

If you identify as a person of the global majority/BIPOC birthing person and/or may have financial restrictions, I’d love to learn more about your story, and discuss a pay-what-you-can arrangement. I believe that anyone who wants a doula deserves one who can support them, and I’d love to learn about how I can support you.
